Looking for something fun to do with your baby that gives you a little time for yourself too?

Mama and Me is a welcoming babywearing dance class where you can enjoy feel good music, gentle movement and those lovely cuddles with your baby. We dance to a mix of current hits and throwback favourites, with a little mindfulness woven into the session.

Our classes are about so much more than dancing. They're a chance to get out of the house, meet other parents, build connections and enjoy doing something just for you while keeping your baby close.

Never tried babywearing before? That's absolutely fine! Our trained babywearing consultants and peer support trained instructors can help you find a comfortable fit and learn about safe babywearing. We have carriers available to borrow at no extra cost, so you don't need to own a sling to join us.

You don't need to be a dancer, know the routines or get every move right. Just come as you are, move in a way that feels comfortable for your body and enjoy the experience with your baby. Our classes are friendly, relaxed and open to beginners.

Mama and Me is run by The Parenting Collective CIC, a small local not for profit organisation. We believe parents deserve support, connection and opportunities to enjoy themselves too.

Who can come?

Our classes are suitable for parents and caregivers with babies aged 8 weeks and over, subject to our pre and postnatal guidance. Dads, grandparents and other caregivers are welcome too.
