FIRST STEPS IN MUSIC is Music Tree's course for families with children aged 0-3 that will help you support your child’s musical development with original songs and new creative ideas.

What makes this course different is that it goes deeper into your child’s understanding of music, drawing upon the latest neurological and musical research. This class brings music to your family in a special and fun way and is a fabulous way to bond with your child.

First Steps in Music is Music Tree’s class for families with children ages 0–3, created to support early musical development through original songs, movement, play, and meaningful interaction. Rooted in Gordon’s Music Learning Theory and informed by research in music and child development, these classes offer a rich musical environment where babies and young children can explore sound, movement, improvisation, and connection at their own pace. With small groups and active parent or caregiver participation, each class also becomes a special space to bond with your child while meeting other families, sharing experiences, and enjoying music together. Our goal is to create a joyful, inspiring first musical experience that supports the whole child - and the whole family.
