ART(IE) COLLECTIVE

ART(ie) Collective is a London-based arts organisation creating creative workshops, community programmes and research projects that support wellbeing, connection and belonging.

Our programmes bring together art, creativity and conversation to create welcoming spaces where people can meet, learn new skills and connect with others. Our flagship programme, RICAMI, is an embroidery and wellbeing project for mothers and babies. Through simple stitching activities, participants are invited to slow down, explore their creativity and build relationships with other local parents.

No previous experience is required and all materials are provided. We believe creativity should be accessible, welcoming and free from pressure.

Alongside RICAMI, ART(ie) develops community arts projects, cultural partnerships and research exploring the relationship between creativity, wellbeing and social connection. We currently deliver programmes across Tower Hamlets, including Stepney City Farm, Around Poplar and John Smith Family Hub.
