Description
Set outside in the quiet and alive woodlands of Stanmer Park, Wee Folk Storytelling invites young children and their grown-ups to come and share a story together. We look into the past to find creatures and stories of old from around the world, and reflect on what they could still mean to us today.
Some children will choose to sit and listen, others may feel led to explore the space. All ways of enjoying the stories and space are welcome. Bring a flask, wrap up warm, and welcome the autumn with a collection of new tales to tell and creatures to contemplate around your campfires this season.
Wee Folk Storytelling is a stay and play group so all children are to be accompanied by a trusted adult. Please note that as we are outdoors, sensible clothing for the weather is recommended, and expect to get a little muddy!
Wee Folk Storytelling is proudly human made for all wee humans, and AI will never be knowingly used for finding stories, planning sessions or in the making of logos or marketing etc.
Outdoor venue - please dress accordingly. In the event of very severe weather, for safety, sessions will be cancelled and refunded.
It is a very pleasant walk up the signposted Stanmer Organics path to the Petals Project space. Please allow a little extra time on your journey to do this with little ones.
