Pumpkin Houses at The Secret Garden 🍂

Create a tiny pumpkin home for the cute — or slightly spooky — creatures that might come knocking at your door this Halloween!

We’ll let imaginations run wild as we transform pumpkins into miniature woodland houses, using natural materials to bring each little home to life. Think twiggy windows, sycamore seed curtains, a little bark door and an acorn cap doorbell… what will your pumpkin house look like?

Children can also create their own gnome or fairy family to live inside their pumpkin, using Forest School techniques and adapting the activity to suit their age, abilities and interests.

Alongside the pumpkin making, there’ll be plenty of seasonal, child-led play around the garden, with autumn treasures to discover, explore and create with.

A gentle Halloween experience with just the right amount of magic — creative, seasonal and not too spooky!

🎃 Suitable for ages 4 –11 years

Children should be accompanied by an adult.

Younger siblings are welcome to come and play, if they would like to also make a pumpkin house you will need to select the child or sibling ticket for them.
