THE FLOURISHING TREE

Holistic Explorers: a nurturing space for you and your little mover.

Share a story, follow their curiosity and discover together.

Part of Roots & Wings at The Flourishing Tree, Holistic Explorers is a welcoming class for crawlers and walkers, alongside their parent or carer.

Stories, sensory exploration and music create playful opportunities to connect with your little one as they explore the world around them. With scarves, sounds, songs and imaginative activities, sessions invite children to investigate, move and discover at their own pace.

Each session offers opportunities to:

• Explore sensory resources linked to a shared story.

• Enjoy music, songs and movement together.

• Practise listening, communication and turn-taking.

• Build confidence through curiosity and discovery.

• Share moments of connection with their grown-up.

Little ones do not need to sit still or follow every activity. Watching, moving, returning to a favourite resource and taking a break are all welcome. You can follow your child’s lead and join in alongside them, with no pressure to create a perfect class experience.

There is space for parents and carers to connect too: meet other families, share the little discoveries and enjoy time together away from everyday distractions.

Led by Amanda Hitchen, an experienced primary teacher, SEND consultant and holistic practitioner, Holistic Explorers brings together early learning, creativity and wellbeing.

When: Third Thursday of every month, 2:00–3:00pm.

Where: Eccleston Village Hall, Kiln Lane, WA10 4RA.

Who: Crawlers and walkers with a parent or carer.

Come ready to explore, connect and enjoy the little moments together.
