SINGING MAMAS

Singing Mamas Sheffield is a gentle, inclusive singing circle for women of all ages and life stages. We sing simple, beautiful harmony songs taught entirely by ear - no auditions, no sheet music, and zero pressure. It is a warm, welcoming space to breathe, connect, and belong.

Babies and young children are warmly welcomed to come along, though the singing itself is purely for you.

Many of us grew up believing we "couldn’t" sing or that singing was reserved only for performance. Singing Mamas is different. We practice an oral singing tradition where songs are shared rather than perfected. There are no mistakes here - if you can talk, you can sing!

What to expect: Gatherings take place weekly in my cosy home on Rundle Road, Nether Edge. Each session includes:

• Simple, uplifting songs
• Grounding moments and gentle breathwork
• Time to unwind over hot drinks and sweet snacks

It’s a calm, supportive environment where you can arrive exactly as you are. Whether you're feeling tired, joyful, overwhelmed, or just curious. Singing together steadies the nervous system, eases stress, and creates a deep sense of connection. Many women say they didn’t realise how much they needed it until they stepped through the door.
