RUSSIAN LANGUAGE SCHOOL

Art Studio at Znayka Academy - Russian School

Our Art Studio offers a creative and inspiring environment where children develop their artistic skills, explore their creativity and strengthen their Russian language skills through immersion.

Our classes are divided by age and level, allowing children to develop progressively.

Younger groups begin by experimenting with different materials, discovering the world around them through art and taking part in engaging creative projects.

Older students progress to more structured artistic study, exploring the work and techniques of renowned artists, developing composition and observational skills, and working with a variety of mediums including pastels, watercolours, gouache and more.

All our art teachers are qualified pedagogues and practising artists whose work has been exhibited professionally. Their expertise in both education and art allows them to provide age-appropriate guidance while helping each child develop technique, confidence and their own creative expression.

What we offer:

• Progressive learning in age- and level-appropriate groups
• Introduction to a wide range of artistic techniques and styles
• Experience with different mediums, including pastels, watercolours, gouache and more, with all professional art materials included
• Opportunities to showcase students’ artwork in our in-house exhibitions
• Each year, we submit our students’ artwork to the Royal Academy of Arts’ Young Artists’ Summer Show, with our students having been selected for both the in-person and online exhibitions

Optional Add-on: Russian Language Classes

Children can also combine Art Studio with our Russian Language classes (ages 5–18) or Russian Language with Music (ages 3–5).
