READY, STEADY, GO PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP

Messy Play and Rhyme Time

Using the senses through messy play is a good way for young children to learn about themselves and develop an understanding of the world around them.

This half-term the theme of the sessions will be 'Winter Celebrations'. Each week the children will enjoy celebrating different events such as, Guy Fawkes Night, Diwali, birthdays and Christmas with messy play activities.

The whole room will be set up with lots of age appropriate toys and messy activities for your baby or young child to play with and explore. These activities support language development, motor skills, social skills, scientific curiosity and many more!

During the Rhyme Time part of the session, the group will come together and spend time singing nursery rhymes and songs linked to that week's theme. To engage and excite your baby or toddler, the rhymes will be multi-sensory and include actions, movement, musical instruments and props.

Refreshments are available for adults and children during the session and, most importantly, time to chat, play and develop new friendships.

If you are unable to attend please email Angela Allen and she will cancel and rearrange your booking for you.

On Tuesday 1st December there will not be a Messy Play session as Father Christmas is visiting the group on that morning. Bookings for this will take place directly with Angela Allen.

Please read, complete and return the 'Welcome Letter and Parental Agreement' on registration.
This session gets busy so if you are unable to attend please email Angela Allen and she will cancel and rearrange your booking.
