PLAY, LEARN, GROW! CANNOCK

Our Stay & Plays are relaxed, welcoming sessions designed for babies, toddlers and young children to explore, play and make connections at their own pace, while giving grown-ups the chance to chat, socialise and enjoy a little bit of breathing space too.

Each session has a carefully planned discovery area filled with age-appropriate sensory, exploratory and open-ended play opportunities. From textures and colours to objects that encourage movement, problem-solving and curiosity, there’s plenty for little ones to investigate. Activities are designed to support natural learning through play, allowing children to choose what interests them and explore at their own pace.

We believe play doesn’t need to be complicated to be valuable. Our sessions give children the freedom to experiment, discover, move, repeat and enjoy themselves, while naturally supporting important areas of their development including communication and language, physical development, social skills, curiosity, confidence and independence.

Your child’s safety is always at the heart of our sessions. Our play spaces are carefully set up with babies and young children in mind, with resources selected to provide interesting experiences while remaining appropriate for their stage of development.

As a qualified teacher with a particular interest in the Early Years and multi-sensory development, I put lots of thought into the experiences provided at each Stay & Play. You’ll find a mixture of familiar favourites and new activities to keep things interesting, with opportunities for children to revisit experiences, practise new skills and discover something different each time they come along.

There’s no expectation for your child to complete an activity in a particular way. They can explore, move between areas, watch from the sidelines, come back to something later or simply enjoy being in the space. Every child is different, and that’s exactly how it should be.
