Description

Understanding primitive reflexes, how to spot them and how to encourage them to integrate can avoid many problems later on, especially in the neurodivergent population. If you have a baby that doesn't sleep, is very jumpy, if they don't roll over or don't crawl, if they are late talkers or fussy eaters - all of these issues can be due to primitive reflexes. This short course will explain how to identify each reflex, what happens if that reflex remains active in the central nervous system (retained) and then how to encourage the reflex to integrate using simple activities and nursery rhymes.

This course is ideal for people who are expecting a baby, new mums and dads, and professionals who work with babies

You might find it useful to bring a large doll or teddy to the class, rather than your real baby!
