Nature Explorers: Walk, Talk and Play!

Join our welcoming community of local families for our weekly Nurturing Wild nature walk and nature talk sessions - a lovely way to connect your child with nature while exploring the wildlife of beautiful Beckenham Place Park.

Nurturing Wild is on a mission to inspire families to get outdoors, be playful and connect with nature. ✨

💚 Connect with nature

🌱 Play activities to support your child's early years development

📖 Story time each week we read a high-quality, nature-themed storybook

🪶 Seasonal scavenger hunt

🐞 Mini-beast hunting

🌳 Explore and play under the trees

🌸 Nature-themed craft each week

🌈 Parachute games, songs & bubbles

Please note: this session is on foot throughout with no shelter, so it suits confident walkers up to age 4.

Dress for the weather - we go out rain or shine! ☀️☔️

Meeting point: The squirrel statue under the trees located near the children's playground near the volunteer garden cottage and Homestead.

Sessions are led by Julia, who has over 20 years' teaching experience, is an Early Years consultant and a qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader. Julia is paediatric first aid trained and DBS checked.
