NOISY BOOK CLUB

A Saturday morning sewing workshop for children aged 5 to 11, especially those who worry about getting things wrong. A Noisy Book Club x One of Six collaboration, at the One of Six cabin on Walthamstow High Street.

Over four Saturdays, children make a personalised pillow from scratch: dyeing fabric with natural materials, embroidering their own design, then sewing it together on the machines. We talk about what it feels like when something doesn't go to plan, and the wonky stitches stay in.

Run by Becca, a qualified primary school teacher and growth-mindset trainer.

Saturdays 21 & 28 Nov and 5 & 12 Dec, 10am to 12pm: £168 for the four (£42 a session). There are also two October Saturdays (17 & 24 Oct, £80). 2nd and 3rd child 5% off. Book on the Noisy Book Club website.

The One of Six cabin is at 259A High Street, Walthamstow E17, by Walthamstow Market. 10am to 12pm. All materials provided.
