MISS RHYME TIME

Free baby signing and singing for ages 0 to 4, every Monday at 2pm in Blackheath Village. Just turn up, or book to hold a space. Donations are welcome.

Abby leads a 45 minute session that changes every week. You sing nursery rhymes, play with sensory scarves and read storybooks. Abby adds baby signing to the songs so every child and grown-up can join in, and singing and signing together builds early language.

Children take turns picking a song from the Rhyme Time Lucky Dip Bag. There may also be a surprise character in the Old McDonald finger puppet sack.

What to know

• Ages 0 to 4. Babies in arms are welcome.
• Parents, grandparents and carers are all welcome.
• No experience needed.
• Sessions run in the Studio at Age Exchange, 11 Blackheath Village, SE3. The cafe is breastfeeding-friendly, and every purchase supports Age Exchange's charitable work.
