MINI PROFESSORS

These sessions are held during 'school hours' and are geared towards those families home educating. Each class blends storytelling, hands-on experiments and real science to help children explore new ideas with excitement and self-assurance. They'll build confidence, develop thinking skills and learn that science is something they can truly enjoy.

How a typical class runs

• Put on our lab coats
• Sing our Mini Professors' 'Welcome Song'
• Intro to the day's topic, with pictures and props
• First experiment, where we encourage all our Mini Professors and their grownups to join in (and maybe get messy!).
• A short video, related to the topic
• A story
• Another fantastic hands on science experiment
• Summary of what we've learnt
• End with the Mini Professors' 'Goodbye Song'
• A sticker!

A different topic is explored each week. It could be The Brain, Electricity, Flight, Chemical reactions, Maths, Dinosaurs, Fossils, Butterflies, Weird Science, Space......

There is a front and back entrance. There is a small car park. We are in the main hall.
