Antenatal education, with a little more honesty.

Midwives Unfiltered is a relaxed, supportive antenatal course led by two registered midwives.

Across four sessions, we’ll help you prepare for birth, feeding, caring for your baby and the realities of the fourth trimester.

We talk honestly about the things you really want to know, from labour and birth to inductions, caesarean births, pain relief, feeding choices, newborn care and those first few weeks at home.

There’s a big focus on the postnatal period too, including recovery, changing relationships, hormones, emotional wellbeing and adjusting to life with a newborn.

Expect practical demonstrations, open conversations and plenty of opportunities to ask questions in a friendly, relaxed environment.

Our aim is simple: for you to leave feeling informed, prepared and more confident about birth, baby and beyond.

Our sessions provide general antenatal education and do not replace individual medical advice from your own maternity team.

Our sessions are held in the Miss Coppen Room at St Luke’s Church, Maidstone. There is a car park directly next to the venue.

Partners/birth partners are very welcome to attend with you.

Please arrive a few minutes before the session starts so we can get settled and begin on time.

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be available, so come along, get comfortable and enjoy a relaxed evening with us.
