LITTLE ROOTS COLLECTIVE

Little Roots is a new class for tiny humans, but with a difference! Planned

in line with the EYFS and Development Matters documents, by a

qualified and experienced teacher, our classes focus on building

children’s confidence, communication and curiosity, and help to build a lifelong love of learning.

Each weekly session will begin with a short circle-time, where children

will engage with fun phonics activities, and will begin to explore the

week’s themes. From space to transport, and everything in between, our

themes have been carefully chosen to build on children’s prior

knowledge, and, most importantly, provide some exciting invitations to play and create!

After this, children are free to explore the different areas of learning that

have been thoughtfully designed and adapted for different age groups.

Children can use their funky-fingers and develop their fine-motor skills,

create and imagine using different materials, build, and even explore the

kind of Pinterest-worthy sensory tuff-trays that are too much mess and

effort for home! These activities will be changed each week to match the

theme of the class, so there will never be the same activity twice.
