INDIGO LEARNERS

Indigo learners is a teacher led creative play experience for children aged from 2.5 - 5 years old where beautiful picture books become the starting point for imagination, creativity and learning.

Each session begins with time to settle and explore. Children can discover the space at their own pace and choose what interests them. Once everyone has arrived we come together to share our story. Each week a carefully chosen picture book introduces children to new characters, ideas and language and provides the inspiration for the play that follows.

They might investigate sensory materials, develop their fine motor skills, build and construct or become immersed in imaginative and small world play. Every activity is chosen to foster the early skills that will help to prepare them for school.

Indigo learners is intentionally small, calm and welcoming, giving children the space and time to become absorbed in their play while grown ups enjoy the experience alongside them.
