EUROPA GYM CENTRE

Our Reception Age Recreational Gymnastics classes provide a fun, welcoming introduction to gymnastics for children in Reception at school.

Each one-hour class takes place in our Olympic-standard training facility, where children can enjoy using a wide range of specialist apparatus and equipment. Sessions are led by qualified, DBS-checked coaches who are members of British Gymnastics and are committed to making every class safe, enjoyable and rewarding.

Through a progressive programme of activities, children will develop fundamental gymnastics skills, including jumping, landing, rolling, balancing, swinging, climbing and basic shapes. Classes also help build confidence, coordination, strength, flexibility, listening skills and independence.

Activities are carefully planned to suit Reception-age children, combining structured coaching with plenty of fun and encouragement. Children progress at their own pace while learning how to use the equipment safely and work positively alongside others.

Throughout the year, gymnasts may have opportunities to work towards badges, awards and special club events where their progress and achievements can be recognised and celebrated.

Classes run continuously throughout the year, with fees payable monthly. Entry into the programme requires annual club membership of £40, together with British Gymnastics membership.

Families also benefit from free on-site parking, while our centre includes Vimy’s coffee shop and an on-site fitness gym.
