Swim Smart, Swim Safe, Swim Happy with Core Aquatics!

We're a multi-award winning swim school that have helped swimmers of all ages and abilities become confident and competent swimmers in the East Midlands for the last several years.

STA’s Junior Lifeguard Academy is a survival and rescue training programme that has been specifically created for young people aged from 8 years.

Requirements

Swimmers are required to be 8 years+ and have been awarded Shark 3 and 50m, in order to join.

If your swimmer has not completed their Shark 3 and 50m, contact us to arrange how we can transition them through our other lessons or from other providers.

Lesson Information

• One teacher to 12 swimmers
• 30 mins
• Tasks can be split between individual, pair and group work in the pool as well as on pool side. We do this to balance lesson time.
• Participation in JLA involves skills such as CPR where physical contact between participants may be required.
• Swimmers must wear swimming costume/trunks underneath loose clothing (e.g. cotton t-shirt and trousers)
• We will provide all the equipment to deliver lessons other than personal equipment e.g., swimwear, fins and snorkels
