You are invited to come along to our baby and toddler group at Christ Church Beckenham

We have two seperate groups.

• Baby group upstairs with sensory songs and free play;
• Toddler group downstairs with free play, story and song time, crafts and activities;

Both groups have tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits included in the cost.

We cap our numbers to keep the group calm and ensure everyone can connect without feeling overwhelmed. Come along and we’ll share details about how to book. It’s £3 per child (payable by card on the day). Read below to hear one family’s experience.

“The team at Christchurch Beckenham’s Toddlers group have created a really loving and welcoming little community for both the children and their guardians. A lot of attention is given to the children’s needs in very practical ways and is well thought through. There are plenty of engaging toys, craft activities to complete which are well designed for little fingers and which dovetail nicely with the cleverly adapted stories shared with the children. This is a space full of love, grace, and good humour. The children and their guardians’ soul are guaranteed to be warmed up. They also offer the best coffee in the high street. We open at 9:45 and usually keep the door open until 10am. Then it is shut for safety reasons. It's £3 payable on the door with card reader. Prams are left in a separate room to allow more space. We have a booking system, but can explain that, on your first visit. We start tidying up at 11am, and close at 11:15am.

Our baby group is in a different room to the toddlers. Babies usually start with a little sing and sensory session for 10-20min then it's free play and parents/carers get a hot drink and biscuits.

Our toddler group starts with free play, then half way through we offer teas and coffees in the lounge, have story and song time and then you can stay in the lounge or return to the play room. We also provide crafts for the toddlers.

Refreshments are included in the cost of £3 per child.
It is a small group compared to other groups, we like it this way, as people have said it's not too overwhelming or overcrowded.
