The Motherhood RE:BUILD: Returning to Exercise with Confidence
Returning to exercise after having a baby can feel daunting. You may be wondering when it’s safe to start, how quickly to progress, or how to exercise in a way that supports your recovery rather than hinders it.
Join Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor Gillian Hatherall for a practical and supportive workshop designed to help mothers return to movement with confidence.
During the session, you’ll learn:
• When and how to safely return to exercise postpartum
• How to progress your activity levels appropriately
• Breathing techniques to support your core and pelvic floor
• What diastasis recti is and how it may affect exercise
• How to fuel your body while exercising during motherhood
• Practical ways to fit movement into a busy life with a baby
This is an educational workshop rather than a fitness class. There will be some optional practical demonstrations, so please wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement.
Suitable for mothers at any stage of their postpartum journey.
