CAFE CREATION

Our allies from Echo Performing Arts will be hosting a workshop to explore dance and drama, providing children with accessible fun, props and costumes.

Parent carers will be in receipt of a hot drink on us, a warm welcome from us and opportunities to meet specialists from our network.

Children can expect 1:1 encouragement and small group activities supported by our senco, with a Winter Shadow performance shown and available to interact with.

We provide free parking, free entry for 1 parent/carer per paying participant. Additional audience members can attend by purchasing a reduced ticket too. Our hatch will be open serving additional refreshments, our facilities are inclusive and wheelchair accessible with a disabled bay right outside our gate. No diagnosis / criteria to meet, if you have any specific needs please contact The Neuro-Affirming Network on Facebook or the website to express accommodations.

All our network members, staff and associates are independent neurodivergent professionals and are working with personal/ lived and work experience.

Please access the building through the wooden gate, this brings you to our front door. Those requiring wheelchair access can follow the sign from the disabled parking bay which directs you around the side of the building- we will direct you from this entrance.
We have specific areas for folded up buggies, hanging coats and storing belongings.
We welcome attendees to carry sensory toys/ comforts and wear what suits them on the day. The hall can echo, so feel free to bring ear defenders/ loops. We are navigating the session so noise levels will be lower once we begin.
This workshop is an example of the sessions we will be offering from January, so if you feel at home in our space and your loved one has enjoyed the activity please reach out to us to secure your place for 2027
