BRACKEN SPRINGS FOREST SCHOOL

WE HELP PARENTS AND CARERS CONNECT: OUR FOREST SCHOOL DOES NOT HAVE A MINIMUM AGE AND INCLUDES ALL TYPES OF FAMILIES! BRING YOUR BABY/LITTLE ONE TO ABSORB THE ATMOSPHERE AND MAKE FRIENDS!!!Our growing little forest school has a new base on a 10 acre nature reserve where we have our own gardening patch, foraging area. We can play outside with toys (or just sticks if preferred!) look for trees and trains, or choose one of many offered activities. Pema our DBS checked and experienced forest school leader creates a bespoke group where singing and playing acoustic music is a natural development and the group runs as much for the parents to relax, chat and have a breathing space outdoors as it is for the children to play and learn. Imagine your child's first words being for butterflies, dragonflies and birds as they gain confidence meeting others and developing their own rhythm and resilience. We are forest school insured and paediatric forest school first aid trained so have everything in place to have the occasional camp fire or use adapted tools for craft and whittling dependent on needs of group.

Please dress suitably for weather and for being outdoors eg. long sleeves where we may look for wildlife in meadow, wellies where walking/toddling and insect repellent. Pram and baby carriers both potentially useful for younger ones. Please ensure you bring own water and any additional snacks. Please do tell us either by message or the additional booking information box if you have any specific dietary requirements of medical needs.
