Little Learners at the Barn – Explorers

Little Learners at the Barn – Explorers is a teacher-led play and learning session for confident walkers, toddlers and preschool children, set in our beautiful farm barn.

Each week, children will enjoy a carefully planned session featuring songs, a themed story and a range of engaging activities designed to support communication, language, creativity, fine motor development and early learning through play. Activities are linked to our weekly theme, encouraging children to explore, investigate and learn in a fun and meaningful way.

Alongside our themed activities, children can enjoy our soft play area, providing opportunities to develop confidence, coordination and social skills while having fun with their peers.

A special part of our session is the opportunity to visit and help feed the farm animals. Children love getting up close to the animals and experiencing life on the farm, helping to foster curiosity, confidence and a connection with the natural world.

As a qualified teacher and mum, I am passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children can learn through play, build friendships and make happy memories. Our small-group setting allows for a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where both children and their grown-ups can feel at home.
