B-BUDDIES CIC

Whether they are a seasoned racer or new to mountain biking, there is nothing better than riding with like-minded cyclists in a traffic free environment to develop your skills and realise your potential.

Our MTB club focuses on coaching riders to ride predominantly on off road trails, skills areas, grass, gravel, tarmac, woodland and more as well as introduce them to the world of off-road racing, a fun way to get into cycle sport. 

Riders must be able to cycle confidently including for a reasonable distance and experience on different terrains, inclines and declines.

Coaches are well experienced and qualified in many British Cycling and MIAS qualifications.

Bad weather plan:

Although we run all year round, occasionally the weather is too cold, hot or wet to continue. Rather than cancelling, once we have built up a fleet of rollers through donations, we will run indoor stamina training mixed with bike maintenance skills.

Memberships:

After the first term riders are required to have either a Bronze or Silver B-BUDDIES Membership. A Bronze under 16's Membership is £10 for the first year and £5 to renew annually, registering them as an official member of B-BUDDIES. A Silver under 16's Membership is £50 for the first year and £10 to renew annually. As well as registering the rider as an official B-BUDDIES member they will also receive access to Summer Training, ​​Leicestershire Police Bike Passport, British Cycling Membership for first year, British Cycling Insurance for first year, B-BUDDIES Jersery (worth £28), B-BUDDIES Bottle (worth £7.50), B-BUDDIES Buff (worth £5), B-BUDDIES Bag (worth £5), 10% off member's bike service and 10% off x2 drinks at races at Snibston Colliery Park and Beaumanor Hall.
