PARENT PATH

**A little time to slow down, connect and enjoy your baby.**

Welcome to Parent Path Developmental Baby Massage - small, relaxed courses for parents and their babies in Bushey and St Alban's.

Those early months with a baby can be wonderful, intense and sometimes a little isolating. Baby massage gives you a chance to pause, spend some calm one-to-one time together and learn gentle techniques you can continue using at home.

Across four weekly sessions, you'll learn developmental baby massage techniques inspired by the work of Peter Walker, while becoming more confident in recognising and responding to your baby's cues.

Baby massage can support relaxation, bonding and body awareness, and we'll also explore gentle techniques that may help babies experiencing wind and digestive discomfort.

But this is about more than learning a massage routine.

Classes are deliberately kept small so there's time to chat, ask questions and meet other parents with babies at a similar stage.

And there is absolutely no expectation for your baby to "behave" during class. Babies can feed, sleep, cry, cuddle or need changing. If your baby isn't ready for massage that day, you can watch and practise at home later. We follow the babies, not the timetable.

**Your 4-week course includes:**
• Four relaxed, baby-led sessions
• Developmental baby massage techniques to practise at home
• A small, supportive group
• Time to chat and connect with other local parents
• Guidance from an experienced antenatal educator, breastfeeding counsellor and postnatal doula

**Who is it for?**

The course is designed for parents or carers with young babies from around 6 weeks until they are confidently mobile.
