GENTLE EXPLORERS

🌿 Gentle Explorers | Indoor Nature & Messy Play Classes 🌿

Welcome to Gentle Explorers, calm and nurturing nature-based messy play classes for babies, toddlers and children aged 0-6 years in Chandler's Ford and Burridge, Hampshire.

Created by a primary school teacher with over 15 years of experience and mum of four, Gentle Explorers was born from a passion for giving young children the freedom to explore, create and connect with nature through play.

Our sessions are thoughtfully designed to encourage open-ended, child-led exploration using natural, sustainable and recycled materials. Children are free to splash, dig, pour, scoop, build and discover at their own pace in a welcoming environment where curiosity is celebrated and there is no pressure to produce a particular outcome.

Every tray, invitation to play and sensory experience is inspired by the natural world, helping children build confidence, creativity, problem-solving skills and a love of exploration. Whether your child enjoys getting hands-on with messy materials or prefers to observe and engage in their own way, there is something for everyone.

Gentle Explorers is just as much for parents and carers as it is for little ones. Our sessions provide a calm space to slow down, connect with other local families and enjoy quality time together. You can relax with a coffee and cake while your child explores freely, knowing that all the preparation and clean-up is taken care of.

Our weekly sessions take place:
📍 Wednesdays in Chandler's Ford
📍 Thursdays in Burridge

Perfect for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and home-educated children, Gentle Explorers offers a gentle introduction to sensory and messy play in all seasons, whatever the weather.

Come and explore, play, connect and make memories together.
