COLLECTIVE PLAY

Play, Learn, Connect: A fun Stay & Play with child-led, open-ended activities

What Collective Play says

A fun, welcoming space for children (from birth to five) and their grown‑ups to play, learn, and connect. Each two‑hour session is relaxed and child‑led—children explore, imagine, and create at their own pace. They play together, make friends, and enjoy a variety of activities. Grown‑ups join in too, following their child’s lead and supporting learning through simple moments of shared play. It’s all about curiosity, connection, and plenty of play.

Our Approach

Play is child‑led and enjoyable. Adults support using scaffolding and shared thinking, stepping in or stepping back as needed so every child can explore and learn in their own way.

What You’ll Find in Our Play Space

Our setting includes a range of inviting areas designed to support early development:

🎨 Creative Area – Open‑ended art and making
🌍 Small World Play – Mini worlds for storytelling
🧼 Messy Play – Sand, dough, foam, and sensory fun
🍼 Baby Area – A safe, cosy space for our youngest children
🍎 Snack Area – A calm spot for a healthy snack
✍️ Mark Making – Pens, chalks, crayons
📚 Book Corner – A cosy reading space
🧱 Construction – Blocks and loose parts
🎭 Role Play – Dressing up and everyday scenarios

All areas stay open throughout the session, giving children the freedom to move around and play at their own pace. Our team is always here to support and guide.

How We Plan Our Sessions

We follow the children. We watch what interests them, the play patterns they repeat, and the activities they naturally return to. These observations guide what we set up each week, keeping play engaging and fun.

Why Our Sessions Are Two Hours

Our sessions run for two hours to make things easier for families. You can arrive and leave whenever it suits your routine, creating a relaxed, flexible experience. The longer session also gives children time to settle and explore at their own pace. We keep group sizes small so the space stays calm and welcoming—booking is essential.
