CALM PARENTS AND BABIES

At Calm Parents and Babies we aim to support you with your exciting journey into becoming parents and through the first year after birth by providing Antenatal Parent Preparation Workshops, International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) Baby Massage classes and Postnatal Support Workshops.
Our friendly, relaxed workshops allow you to explore all aspects of becoming parents, the benefits and techniques of massaging your baby and practical advice with sleep, feeding, safety, skincare and introducing solid foods. These workshops are all delivered in group settings or individually in your own home.
In our antenatal workshops we explore emotional wellbeing, physical wellbeing, parent/child relationships, what to expect in the early weeks, safety at home and out and about, feeding choices, feeding techniques and skincare. Our 5 week baby massage course, for babies between 2 weeks and 12 months, teach parents about the benefits of baby massage for development, relief of symptoms such as colic and teething, relaxation, sleep and stimulation of all body systems. Parents will learn massage strokes for their baby's feet, legs, stomach, chest, arms, face and back.
We also deliver individual postnatal workshops on skincare, sleep, feeding, safety and introducing solid foods.
These workshops are a great opportunity to build your confidence, get to know other parents and babies, and to ask all of those questions that you have spinning round in your head. There really is no such thing as a silly question and at Calm Parents and Babies workshops you have the opportunity to pick the brains of an experienced health professional, giving you the information needed to make choices and decisions on your parenting adventure!
