Looking for a different kind of playgroup?

Join us every Thursday from 10am for an extended stay-and-play rooted in sensory exploration, nature connection, and unhurried time together. Expect muddy hands, curious minds, and plenty of space for snacks, chats, and wandering.

There will be nature crafts available throughout the day, and the occasional mud kitchen, alongside opportunities to build dens, spot bugs and birds, or simply follow your child’s lead.

TIMINGS (a gentle guide, not a strict schedule)

+ 10:00–12:00 Activities & Play

+ 12:00–12:30 Picnic**

+ 12:30–14:00 Activities & Play

+ 14:00–14:30 Pack-down

There will always be a morning and afternoon focus, plus time to sit and eat together. Timings may shift slightly - because life :)

You can book a half-day (morning or afternoon) or stay for the full day. You’re welcome to arrive and leave as it suits your family - no pressure!

A small tipi can be set up for naps on request - please bring anything that helps your child feel cosy and comfortable.

Picnic note: This is a shared, potluck-style lunch. Please bring your own food and be mindful of allergens.

WHAT TO BRING:

+ Weather-appropriate clothing (waterproofs recommended year-round)

+ Spare clothes and layers

+ Packed lunch, snacks, drinks

+ Blankets and any comforts

We usually have a dry shelter, but waterproof bags are helpful on wet days.

Please note: we don’t provide changing mats or potties. A compost toilet and handwashing station are available.

Other than that, we kindly ask that you leave the toys in the pram (unless they're really cool/nerdy) and screens kept to a minimum.

Bring your curiosity and wonder. Bring an openness to boredom and frustration. Try something new. Mess it up. Share your creations, ideas, and laughter with your little ones and the community you've found.

This is more than play - it’s an opportunity to make connections, create memories, and find your own way to the wild...

Access to the site is not super pram-friendly - we push them over grass and then leave them at the entrance. There will always be extra adults around to help out with this so please don't worry!
