THE CONSERVATOIRE

Travel back in time to create your own vintage fantasy map inspired by Bernard Sleigh's stunning ancient map of fairyland. Using fine liners and watercolours, locate and illustrate the various places and characters in the King Arthur tale - Kings, knights, sorcerers and dragons, incorporating other fairytale and mythical characters and places if you desire. We will design a costume for one of your characters giving the drawing the appearance of a medieval manuscript using printmaking and paint to embellish our designs. At the end we can make a prop/ costume piece from the story using paper and paint.
