THE COASTAL BIRTH CLUB

The Coastal Birth Club in Exmouth provides Midwife-led, Antenatal Education classes and Hypnobirthing classes to parents-to-be in the Exmouth-Exeter and East Devon area.

This is more than just traditional antenatal classes. It is carefully designed courses for parents who want up-to-date, research-based knowledge, practical skills, local expertise and valuable decision-making tools to help navigate pregnancy, labour and early parenthood with confidence. If you are hoping for a calm and positive birth experience and value guidance and ongoing support from an experienced midwife, our courses are designed for you.

We keep our antenatal classes small, with a maximum of 8 couples per course. This helps create a relaxed and supportive environment where everyone has the opportunity to ask questions, take part in discussions and get to know the other parents in the group.

Antenatal Classes are best suited for parents who will be between 24–31 weeks pregnant at the start of the course.

Hypnobirthing classes are suitable for any gestation over 12 weeks although lots of parents do like to wait until 20 weeks of pregnancy to start
