Led by Doulas Emma & Carla, our 4 week course covers a huge range of topics designed to help you meet other local couples with similar due dates, and prepare you for labour and birth, ensuring you feel empowered to make decisions for your care throughout.

Our course covers;

• The physiology of birth & Biomechanics
• Hypnobirthing techniques
• Exploring and writing birth preferences
• Pain management in labour
• Early labour signs
• Feeding choices
• Preparation for baby's arrival, exploring topics such as car seat safety and infant sleep.

AND SO MUCH MORE!

£150 per couple.

No more than 5 couples per course, price includes 4 week course for birthing parent and 1 birth partner, refreshments, and access to online resources and client area.

Plus optional Hypnobirthing session add-on £30.

Classes run 7-9pm on Wednesday's, with new courses starting the first Wednesday of each month.

About Us

We are Emma and Carla - two practicing Doulas based in Shaftesbury. Between us we have supported all kinds of birth and have an enormous passion for supporting our clients to have positive, empowered birth experiences. After spotting a local gap for Antenatal classes, we decided to create our own to both educate local families, and create a space where you can meet other local families due around the same time as you to help you build your 'Village'.

Our passion for informing families to have empowered and positive birthing experiences informs everything we do. Our carefully curated, fully comprehensive course will arm you with all the information you need to get Birth Ready!

​Whether this is your first pregnancy or your fifth, there's always more to learn and always room for self-confidence in birth to grow. On completion of our course, both you and your birth partner will feel confident and empowered as you embark on your birth journey together. You will possess all the key skills and information you could need.
