TEGGIES IMPROV

We're running a six week improv class to focus on the wonderful principles of improvised comedy! Fun and relaxed exercises will get us in the mood to create little scenes and characters together with our babies!

Here is a breakdown of our class dates:

Class 1 (7th of April): Yes And! - This class is all about accepting ideas and building on top of them with our little ones and other mums.

Class 2 (14th of April): Treat each other well - We'll endow each other with characteristics (e.g. Hyperactive hairdresser, Over enthusiastic gardener) and see what stories emerge.

Class 3 (21st of April): Listening and Observing - We'll practice our mirroring muscles together and listen more to what our babies wish to communicate. Then we'll do our wackiest best to have them mirror us back!

Class 4 (28th of April): Getting Out of Our Head - Letting go of control and the fear of failure through silly games and laughing together more.

No class on the 5th of May!

Class 5 (12th of May): Relationships - We'll delve deeper into character work, emotions and attitudes, to help our stories become relatable.

Class 6 (19th of May): Improv Jam - Our final class will be a get together, where we'll practice all we have learnt and put on a show for each other.

Each class is self contained (drop in style) and people can attend any number of them. It is recommended to come to all, or most of the classes, to get to full benefit of improv for your wellbeing! See you there mama!
