Little ones boogie, wiggle and dance, taking movement inspiration from popular children's books. Through dance and playful storytelling, children develop coordination, confidence, social skills, and self-expression-all while having tons of fun!

This is a special opportunity to bond with your child, exploring movement together in a warm and welcoming space.

What to Expect...

Each session begins with free play before we say hello to Roger Bear. We then explore movement around the room with our grown-ups before diving into the first part of our story. With exciting props, uplifting music, and plenty of giggles, little ones delve into a world of the imagination. We always end with a magical moment-cuddling under the ‘magic cloud’ and singing goodbye.

Dance can offer a range of developmental benefits for young children, including:

• Physical development – supporting the growth of fine and gross motor skills, coordination, balance, mobility, and body awareness.
• Social development – encouraging interaction, cooperation, and opportunities to communicate ideas through movement.
• Cognitive development – helping children make connections between ideas through movement, while supporting creativity, imagination, and an understanding of concepts such as space and direction (e.g. moving over, under, and around).
• Emotional development – providing opportunities for self-expression, building confidence and a sense of achievement, and helping children explore emotional awareness in a positive, playful environment.​​​

Buggies can be brought inside and left at the far end of the hall. Baby change available. Assembly room is on your left as you entrer the Subud Centre.
