Messy Play and Rhyme Time

Using the senses through messy play is a good way for young children to learn about themselves and develop an understanding of the world around them.

This half-term the theme of the sessions will be 'Places We Like to Visit'! 

Each week we will take a messy trip to either the beach, park, circus, zoo or farm. The whole room will be set up with lots of age appropriate toys and messy activities for your baby or young child to play with and explore. These activities support language development, motor skills, social skills, scientific curiosity and many more!

During the Rhyme Time part of the session, the group will come together and spend time singing nursery rhymes and songs. To engage and excite your baby or toddler, the rhymes will be multi-sensory and include actions, movement, musical instruments and props.

Refreshments are available for adults and children during the session and, most importantly, time to chat, play and develop new friendships.
