Welcome to Poppelwood, a calm and cosy indoor soft play space created for babies, toddlers, young children, and the grown-ups who love them.

We wanted to create something that feels different from loud, overwhelming play centres. Poppelwood is designed to feel warm, welcoming, imaginative, and relaxed, giving children space to play, explore, and build confidence while parents and carers can also enjoy the experience.

Our sessions are perfect for families looking for gentle play, creative activities, and meaningful moments together. Children can enjoy soft play, role play, mini games, themed activities, sensory experiences, and seasonal events in a safe and friendly environment designed with young children in mind.

Alongside our regular play sessions, we also host special events throughout the year, including themed play days, family events, mini games sessions, and celebrations designed to create magical memories for children and parents alike.

We aim to create experiences that feel thoughtful, personal, and fun without the stress or pressure often found in larger venues.

Poppelwood is also a lovely space for meeting other local parents, carers, childminders, and families.

Our café is fully operational, offering drinks, snacks, and refreshments so families can relax while children play. We also have friendly staff who are always happy to help and create a warm atmosphere for both children and adults.

The venue is pram accessible with parking available nearby, making visits easier for parents with babies and young children. Cleanliness is also a huge priority for us, and we work hard to keep the play areas and seating spaces clean, safe, and comfortable throughout the day.
