Welcome to Movement for Mums – a gentle movement and wellbeing group created by a mum, for mums.
As a mum myself, I know how difficult it can be to find time for yourself whilst caring for little ones. Many fitness classes can feel intimidating when you're just getting started, returning to exercise after having children, or simply trying to regain confidence in your body and yourself.
Movement for Mums offers a relaxed, supportive space where you can bring your baby or toddler along and enjoy an hour dedicated to your wellbeing. There is no pressure to be fit, no expectation to keep up with anyone else, and no need to arrange childcare. Children are welcome to play, explore, and simply be themselves while mums enjoy gentle movement, stretching, strengthening exercises, and meaningful conversation.
Each session includes light movement suitable for different fitness levels, opportunities to connect with other local mums, and a weekly wellbeing topic designed to encourage reflection, confidence, and self-care. Whether you're looking to improve your fitness, meet other mums, boost your mood, or simply get out of the house, you'll find a warm and welcoming community here.
This isn't about perfection, weight loss, or intense workouts. It's about taking small steps towards better physical and mental wellbeing, building friendships, and remembering that you matter too.
