MOTHERS UNCOVERED

Are you looking for your Mum Village for your fourth trimester? Maybe you are longing to do something for you, but can't because you have your baby. Or maybe your child is now at nursery or school and you feel like you have some headspace to process?

Join our supportive, peer-led writing circle to explore your identity, how it has changed in matrescence (meaning the journey to motherhood) and how your daily life has changed as a mother.

We will discuss the expectations and realities of motherhood, explore whose voices are present in the expectations, what stories they are telling and what story do you want to tell about this stage of your life.

The writing prompt are short and designed to be done while holding your baby. No previous writing experience is needed and that there will be no expectation to read aloud what you have written: it's writing for wellbeing and personal development, not creative writing.

Our Peer Supporters are also fully DBS checked, so will be delighted to hold your baby if you want to write hands-free, have a cuppa or nip to the loo.

The Circle is open to mothers at ALL stages of motherhood - there's always plenty to say on the topic!
