Pregnancy is a time of profound change, physically, emotionally, and in your sense of self. This class combines the gentle pregnancy yoga with midwifery knowledge, supporting you through this transformational time in your life. Pregnancy Yoga offers a calm, supportive space to slow down, breathe, soften, and connect with your changing body whilst connecting with your baby. Sessions are gentle and grounding, with space for movement,
breath awareness, rest, and simple practices you can take into everyday life and help you prepare for birth.
Pregnancy yoga supports you in the life changing journey throughout pregnancy and parenthood, supporting you through the emotional and physical journey to becoming a parent. Gentle movement can help with many of the common discomforts of pregnancy, such as aches, back pain, tension and helping you to connect to your pelvic floor, with breathing techniques and positions to support you, and to help nurture your baby into an optimal position for birth. Pregnancy yoga also offers time to connect with your body, your baby and your own inner wisdom, building confidence and to trust your instincts as you prepare for birth and parenthood. Practicing within a supportive group, pregnancy yoga can also connect you with people on the same journey at the same time as you, offering connection, helping you to feel held by a community during this transformational time in
your life.
Class sizes are small, allowing time for connection and individual support. I am currently in the final stages of completing my coursework and case studies for my yoga training qualifications. Time is held after class, for questions, sharing and connection. There is also the chance to connect with the other like-minded members of the group, although this is completely optional. The kettle is on for a cuppa afterwards, if you would like.
The studio has a kitchen and you are welcome to help yourself to some water/tea. There is a toilet within the studio.

Baby Yoga sessions are midwife-led, bringing together professional knowledge, lived experience and a deeply nurturing approach to early parenthood. Sessions are held with an understanding of infant development, postnatal recovery (if appropriate) and the emotional landscape of life with a new baby. I also work in a local nursery school and I am currently working towards my qualification as an Early Years Educator. I am currently in the final stages of completing my coursework and case studies for my yoga training qualifications. Upon completion prices may be subject to a relative price increase.
While classes can be booked individually, many families find Baby Yoga most supportive when attended over a short block of sessions, often around four classes in a row. This allows time for you and your baby to settle into the rhythm of the practice, build familiarity and confidence.
