Hosted by Esme of Mini Gigs, in collaboration with Luke of Open Mic Collective who run multiple popular Open Mic nights across North London.
We both feel that parents, teens and others who can't access evening events still deserve to share their talents and creations, or just to sit and enjoy communal, casual performances and singalongs!
So, we've designed this monthly "Mini Mic" to be:
✨welcoming of little ones so parents can attend. Baby proofed as much as possible with soft mats, play corner and toys provided. Enclosed space. Feeding and hubbub welcome
✨in the day time - before tea and bedtime!!
✨at the weekend so school-age kids or teens can attend, and perform if desired!
✨a very supportive and welcoming environment
🎤MUSIC ONLY - performers and song choices will be approved beforehand just to ensure it's all safe and appropriate for little ones
🎸We will have an acoustic guitar we're happy for performers to borrow. Also a full PA system
🍹The King's Head is kindly offering a free soft drink for performers and the downstairs bar will be open for purchasing boozier options too!
Attendance is totally free but ideally, register your interest just for our info. Or, just turn up last minute if you're an audience member. We can't wait to see you there!
