Spring is in the air and we’re marking the season with a joyful afternoon (and evening) of music, crafts and dancing 🌸

Join Mini Folk and Hackney Folk Club for a special May Bank Holiday festival, a relaxed, family-friendly gathering filled with live folk music, ceilidh dancing, creativity and community.

Mini Folk Presents (12:00–5:00pm)

A playful daytime world for little ones and their grown-ups:

• All-day craft tables

• Soft play

• Bubble show with the World’s Tallest Bubbleologist

• Family dance led by Cut A Shine

Hackney Folk Club Presents (5:00–10:00pm)

As the sun dips, things stretch into a lively evening session:

• Emerging artists

• Floorspots

• Grown-ups ceilidh with Cut A Shine barn dance

• Maypole magic

• Club Debris LIVE

• Ongoing bar sessions throughout the afternoon

Running from midday into the evening, this extended celebration invites you to drop in, stay a while, or dance your way through the whole thing. Expect singalongs, trad sessions, swirling skirts, stomping feet and plenty of chances to join in — from toddlers to night owls 🪕✨

We have a buggy area in entrance but due to limited space we kindly ask you to fold buggies on arrival where possible, Venue will have refreshments available during event Photography and video recording will take place at our events for promotional, marketing and archival purposes. This may include use on our website, social media channels.Anyone who does not wish for their child to be photographed or filmed, they must inform door staff upon arrival. We will ensure that the child is identified to staff and excluded from promotional photography and filming wherever reasonably possible.We will take reasonable steps to respect these requests and to avoid capturing or publishing images of children whose parents have opted out. Parents and carers are asked to be mindful of other families when taking their own photographs or videos. All children must remain the responsibility of their parent or designated carer during events. Please help us keep our events nut free, for with allergies safe.
