LUX MOVEMENT

Lux Movement is a feel-good babywearing movement and community class for parents and carers, held in a beautiful studio space in Bolney, West Sussex.

Our classes combine gentle and fun movement with uplifting music whilst carrying your baby close in their carrier. Each session begins with a relaxed start so you have time to arrive, settle in, and get your carrier on with support if needed. There is plenty of space to feed and change your baby and a little area to lay them down if needed!

Suitable for babies 8 weeks to 18 months. No babywearing experience necessary. Please ensure you have been cleared for gentle postnatal movement by your GP or midwife before attending.

Lux Movement was created by a mum who knows first-hand how much of a difference it makes to move your body, feel supported, and find your people in those early months. We wanted to build a space where that feeling is available to every parent.

Tears, feeds, and unsettled moments are completely welcome here! This is a relaxed space where you and your baby always come first.

Rawson Hall has free parking on site. Baby changing facilities are available.

Each class begins with a relaxed start where you’ll have time to get your carrier on with support if needed, so there’s no need to arrive already set up.

Wear comfortable clothing suitable for gentle movement and soft-soled trainers or shoes. Please bring your carrier, water for yourself, and anything you need for your baby.

Babies love you to move around when in their carriers so please feel free to walk around the space at any time. Tears, feeds, and nappy changes are all completely fine and there is plenty of space to tend to your baby whenever needed.

Please ensure you have been cleared for gentle postnatal movement by your GP or midwife before attending. We recommend waiting a minimum of 8 weeks following a vaginal birth, or 12 weeks following a caesarean section.
