Welcome to Little Roots, a calm and structured session designed to spark curiosity and build strong foundations for confident reading and writing.

Led by Lauren Davis - a parent and qualified primary teacher with 14 years of experience - these small-group sessions create a warm, nurturing environment where children aged 2.5 to 4 can explore the magic of sounds and language.

Our sessions are carefully crafted to make early literacy feel like a natural, joyful discovery:

• Listening & Sound Play: Engaging games that build focus and a keen ear for sounds.
• Focus Sound Exploration: Gently discovering new sounds through play and imagery.
• Fine Motor Activities: Creative, hands-on play - like threading and cutting - to develop the coordination and strength needed for future writing.
• Practical Parent Tips: Simple ideas to help you continue nurturing your child's literacy journey at home.
