LITHUANIAN PLAYGROUP "LIETUVIUKAI"

Join our playgroup “Lietuviukai” for a fun afternoon of play and conversation! This pilot session is a dedicated space for families in the Lithuanian community to gather, have a cuppa together and let the little ones play freely.

• Suitable for children aged 0-8, with most activities tailored for the early years.
• Older children are very welcome and may wish to bring their own activities such as colouring, books, crafts or board games. We will aim to provide a separate area for them where possible.
• Children do not need to speak Lithuanian to attend. As many families are bilingual, both Lithuanian and English will naturally be spoken during the session.

Activities

• The session will focus mainly on free play, with soft play, toys and books available for children to use.
• A playpen area for babies will be available.
• Depending on the session, we may also include simple crafts, songs or seasonal activities.

The session runs for 3 hours and operates in a relaxed drop-in style - families are welcomed to stay for the full time or come and go as needed.

If pilot sessions are successful, the playgroup will aim to run monthly in different areas around Manchester.
