This intimate small-group course is designed for thoughtful mothers who want to support their baby’s development with confidence and care.

Led by Hazel, who is a qualified lactation consultant, sleep coach and postnatal doula, these sessions go far beyond simple massage techniques. You’ll learn how purposeful, responsive touch can:

• Support early motor development
• Ease digestive discomfort
• Encourage nervous system regulation
• Deepen connection and communication
• Complement feeding and sleep patterns

And there will be space for parents to explore how to support their own mental and emotional wellbeing at the same time.

With numbers kept intentionally small, there is space for questions, reassurance and individual guidance.

This is not a busy baby class.

It is a calm, therapeutic space where feeding, sleep and development are understood as connected — and where you can feel supported in the early months of motherhood.

Suitable for babies from 8 weeks to 5 months (non-crawling).

Babies go through a series of natural movement stages as they grow - things like pushing, rolling, sitting, crawling, and eventually walking. These stages don’t just help with movement; they also help your baby’s nervous system learn how to settle, breathe, and feel safe in their body.

When babies are gently supported and not rushed, their bodies learn how to relax and use effort more easily. Every baby develops in their own time, and there’s no need to push them into positions before they’re ready.

This 6-Week Developmental Massage Course is based on Peter Walker’s Developmental & Attachment-Informed Bodywork who has pioneered the practice of Developmental Baby Massage for babies and children from the 1980s onwards.

What we will focus on during this course is creating the right conditions - so your baby can do what their body is already trying to do. This helps build confidence, comfort, and ease in movement now and as they grow
