Description
Free to Be is a gentle, child-led space where children are free to play, explore, create and connect at their own pace.
Our sessions are designed to feel calm, welcoming and unpressured, gentle structure, no expectations, just space for children to be themselves and learn naturally through play.
Each session offers a mix of hands-on, creative and outdoor experiences. This may include mud kitchens and potion play, painting and crafts, building and loose parts play, sensory setups, and seasonal activities. We also incorporate simple cooking and baking, and where suitable, campfire experiences such as toasting marshmallows or preparing food together.
Children are encouraged to follow their own interests, build confidence, make friendships and explore freely in a safe and supportive environment.
We offer a range of sessions to suit different families:
• Stay & Explore (0–5 years): A relaxed stay and play session for little ones with their grown-ups
• Drop-off sessions for home educated children(5+ years): Child-led sessions supporting independence, creativity and connection
• Family sessions (all ages): A chance for the whole family to come together, play and connect
Free to Be is about slowing things down, embracing childhood, and creating meaningful experiences without pressure, without rush, just real play, real connection, and the freedom to be.
Free parking available on site and a warm welcome to all families.
Please come dressed for messy, outdoor play, we fully embrace getting stuck in!
Feel free to bring your own food and snacks. Free hot drinks will be available for adults.
