Description
The essence of May's Sound Sanctuary is... Bee & Bloom
Inspired by the peaceful sounds and quiet beauty of a wildflower garden, this gentle sound bath for parents and pre-crawling babies is an invitation to soften out of doing, into simply being.
Guided by the soothing rhythm of the bee, we begin with a bumblebee inspired humming practice designed to gently activate the vagus nerve and support a shift into shared calm. You’ll then be immersed in a soothing soundscape accompanied by live instruments such as delicate chimes, soothing seed shakers and resonant Tibetan bowls to support presence, rest and deep relaxation allowing you to attune and bloom. After there’s a short period of time for connection, an invitation to share how the experience felt before you softly transition back into your day.
An innovative experience that is peaceful, gently luxurious, & deeply nourishing to support the wellbeing of both parent & pre-crawling babies. Sound baths are deeply relaxing & restorative. They can help ease stress, support better sleep & give you a chance to pause & recharge whilst supporting connection with your baby. Babies are very receptive to sound & vibration. The soothing environment helps them to feel calm & secure, & the shared experience supports bonding and co-regulation.
The experience is for pre-crawling babies 0 -7 months (or a little older if not yet actively crawling). It's completely baby led: feeding, cuddling, moving around, or soothing your baby is always welcome. Babies are not expected to stay quiet & their communication during the session is important & valued.
“Mums often tell me that this is the most relaxing part of their week. That they leave feeling calmer, restored, & gently reminded that it’s okay to rest & recharge, for both themselves, and their little ones.”
A beautiful way to recharge & perfect wellbeing experience for parents who are craving something calm, soulful & nourishing in the early months of parenting.
