Acrobatic Dance or ‘Acro Dance’ for short, is a unique and exciting dance style that combines dance with gymnastic and acrobatic movements. Acrobatic Arts is considered to be one of the safest and most effective syllabi for teaching Acro skills progressively up to advanced pre-professional levels.
Children learn more advanced tumbling and limbering movements such as front and back walk overs, handsprings, pop/hurdle cartwheels and round-offs which are then seamlessly integrated into dance routines.
The mastering of advanced Acro skills requires a high level of flexibility and strength – children will therefore need to develop the self-discipline and eagerness to practise at home.
